About Phillis C.

I am a warm, compassionate, and dedicated carer with 21 years of experience in the health and social care field. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), residential homes, nursing homes, dementia units, and with individuals living with brain injuries, dysphagia, and autism. My qualifications include an NVQ Level 3 and a Diploma in Health and Social Care, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of care. I am passionate about delivering person-centred care, always focusing on the individual needs of those I care for. I approach my work with empathy, respect, and kindness, and take pride in supporting others in a way that promotes their dignity and well-being. I enjoy learning from experienced colleagues and am always looking to expand my skills and knowledge to ensure I provide the best possible care. I’m calm, composed, and logical, and I thrive as part of a team, always willing to lend a hand and help wherever needed. My personality is one that is friendly and approachable, and I genuinely love helping others. I’m excited to join Hometouch, having heard such wonderful things from other carers and I’m eager to bring my skills and passion to your team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching movies, going for walks, and staying active with exercise. I also enjoy singing, gardening, playing games, and traveling, and find peace and connection through attending church.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I have a wide range of interests that keep me busy and fulfilled. I enjoy listening to music, reading, and staying active through sports and going for walks. I also love playing games, working on handcraft projects, and spending time colouring and solving puzzles. Travelling is another passion of mine, as it allows me to explore new places and experiences.
