I have completed full Carer training and hold my Care Certificate. In 2022, I earned a Diploma in Dementia Care from Selby College, and I am currently in the midst of pursuing an End of Life Care Diploma, also through Selby College in 2024. Outside of my professional training, I have a passion for knitting and various crafts. Jigsaw puzzles and card games are among my favorite hobbies. As a mother of five children, I have gained valuable experience in cooking, staying calm under pressure, and managing tasks efficiently—often all at once. I have traveled extensively, am well-articulated, and enjoy meaningful companionship. I am comfortable with light household chores and have a reliable car. Having had pets throughout my life, caring for animals comes naturally to me. In my caregiving experience, I have provided support for short-term recovery needs following surgeries, as well as early and late-stage Dementia, along with a variety of other conditions. Above all, I consider myself a companion—someone who is proactive, enjoys a challenge, and is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those I care for.
