About Lonely P.

I am a Bachelor of Science in Health & Social Care Graduate with 19 years experience within the Care Sector. In this time I have gained a greater understanding of how people living with learning disabilities and mental health disorder as well as physical health patients find their environment challenging and experience pressure in their everyday life. I have developed excellent skills in promoting a person centred approach, where I encourage choices and independence. My commitment to implementing evidence-based practice to enhance patients and service user’s experience has been facilitated and developed through independent learning and enhanced by clinical experiences. I have also gained confidence in effective communication with service users, their families, carers and other professionals. As well as being an enthusiastic and highly motivated person I am also a strong team player. I am keen to learn from others to enhance my personal development plan in the pursuit of providing high levels of care.
