Prior to my career in care, I worked as a banking supervisor for many years. Since transitioning into the healthcare field, I have become a professional live-in carer with a strong focus on client care and excellent communication skills. I have successfully supported a wide range of clients, including the elderly, individuals with dementia, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and those with challenging behaviors, among others. My experiences and training have equipped me with the ability to manage various care needs, including moving and handling with walking aids, hoists, and the management of colostomy and catheter bags, as well as PEG feeding and oxygen therapy. I am skilled in collaborating with healthcare professionals and the client’s family to ensure their needs are met with the highest level of care. The social healthcare courses I have completed have further enhanced my expertise, allowing me to perform my role efficiently and effectively. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a rewarding and challenging role.
