Sandra is a bubbly, enthusiastic carer from Zimbabwe, she moved to the UK in January 2021, she speaks English fluently. Prior to moving to the UK Sandra had worked for 3 years in a childrens nursery in Zimbabwe, she decided to retrain as a carer and has found she loves the role providing support and companionship to her elderly clients to enable to continue to live in their own homes. She spent 3 months training and working in a care home before commencing her career as a live-in carer in March 2021. She has experience with a range of health care needs including Advanced Dementia, challenging behaviour, end of life care, bed bound clients and those with poor mobility. She has practical experience with Catheter and Stoma care, a range of hoists and standing aids. Sandra is a driver with her own car, cooks meals for her clients using fresh ingredients according to their tastes and is happy to assist with pet care
