About Lizzie H.

Hello! I’m Lizzie Hela, a qualified healthcare assistant with experience providing compassionate, personalized care. Since I began my career in 2004, I have been privileged to support and care for individuals with a range of needs, including Alzheimer’s Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Parkinson’s Disease, Physical Disabilities, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Terminal Illness, Epilepsy, Stroke, Osteoporosis, Anxiety, and Insulin-dependent (Type 1) Diabetes. I am genuinely passionate about helping others and feel a deep sense of purpose in my role as a carer. I believe in treating every client with dignity and respect, and I am committed to maintaining confidentiality and building a trusting environment where clients feel comfortable and supported. Providing personal care is just one part of what I do—I also take pride in offering emotional support and creating a warm, encouraging atmosphere. As a live-in carer, I enjoy building close relationships with my clients, understanding their unique needs, and promoting their independence. I always take the time to go at their pace, ensuring they feel in control of their care and valued as individuals. My goal is to provide a high level of care that respects each person’s individuality and enhances their quality of life. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better—I’m looking forward to making a positive difference in the lives of those I care for.

Signature dish:

My signature dishes include a hearty Roast Dinner, complete with all the traditional trimmings, as well as a classic English Breakfast, which is always a favorite for starting the day. I also enjoy preparing comforting Sausage and Mash, served with rich, savory gravy, and a flavorful Spaghetti Bolognese, made with a delicious, slow-simmered sauce. Each of these dishes brings a taste of home and comfort to the table, and I love seeing how much joy they bring to those I cook for.

Additionally, attending church is an important part of my life, offering me a sense of peace, connection, and community.
