I am a passionate healthcare professional with over 27 years’ experience working with a wide range of client groups primarily in general healthcare nursing and caring. I provide a service that is person centred with a focus on specific needs thus enabling the client to live independently and safely in their home environment. These needs include support in: managing activities of daily living, health, budgetary and social activities. My role as a Live-in carer in various clients homes have been: supporting and protecting the rights and interests of my clients, including their right to dignity, respect, privacy, and confidentiality Supporting clients’ right to control their lives, take reasonable risks and make informed choices about the services they receive. I am flexible towards my working hours and the duties I perform, remembering that am a guest in the client’s home, I respect their wishes, beliefs, and their way of life. I am open and honest, and I communicate in a clear and appropriate manner to my clients an work colleagues. I work openly and collaboratively with other health and social care professionals and I adhere to good Practice guides from the company and skills for care.
