About Sheila R.

Sheila is a warm, friendly experienced British carer born in the Zambia and brought up in South Africa. She came to the UK in 2006. Prior to moving to the UK, she had worked for many years as a Nurse in South Africa, since moving to England she began her career as carer (not as a nurse as it would have involved retraining) from 2006 to 2010 as a live-in carer and from 2011 to Dec 2017 as a support worker in supported accommodation, she is returning to live-in care due to a move to Spain. She says that she is a very caring person and loves being a live-in carer providing 1:1 care for her clients to keep them as independent as possible in their own home, she loves assisting clients being independent, taking clients out and encouraging the client to be involved in activities at home like knitting, baking and gardening. Sheila is a car driver and animal lover.
