About Olivia M.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE: Olivia is a personable, warm, positive and jolly carer originally from Uganda. She has lived and worked in the UK for many years and holds a British Passport. Olivia has worked as a live- in carer since 2020, and spent 8 years before this caring for her mother and found she had a real affinity for care so decided to change career. Prior to her career as a carer, she worked for many years as a commissioning manager for various NHS trusts. Olivia has experience assisting clients with a range of health needs including dementia (mild – advanced), stroke care, end-of-life care, multiple sclerosis and diabetes. She has extensive practical experience with catheter care and clients with mobility issues who require hoisting or need assistance with mobility aids.
