Karin B.

Karin is a highly experienced, organised, and proactive carer who has undertaken both daily and live-in care roles since 2010. She has cared for a range of clients with differing needs, including those with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, mobility issues, and poor sight. She is competent in caring for bedbound clients, catheter care, stoma care, operating hoists, and manual handling. Karin was born in Germany and speaks fluent German and English. She has worked in the UK since 2010, before which she lived in South Africa where she raised her two children. Before becoming a carer, Karin enjoyed a varied career including working in customer service, in management, as a Health and Social Care Worker, as a Consular Assistant, as a School Secretary for the German School in Durban, and as an Assistant Manager for NUR Touristic in Berlin.
