About Ngozi O.

Ngozi is a well-presented, quiet, calm and compassionate carer. She has been working as a carer for many years in various roles and capacities. From 2006 – 2007, she worked as a health care assistant at a hospital, and following this, after taking a break to care for her parents, she returned to care work. Between 2016 and 2017, she worked as a domiciliary carer before moving into a live-in care role in May 2017. Ngozi has experience with assisting clients with complex needs including advanced dementia, stroke, diabetes, and clients with limited mobility and those who are bed-bound; she also has experience with catheter and stoma care. Prior to her career in care, Ngozi spent many years working in project management. She, however, found the role unfulfilling and decided on a career change. In contrast, Ngozi says her role as a carer is the most fulfilling she has ever had. She finds it very rewarding being able to support and enable people to live as full a life as possible and in her opinion, there is nothing more fulfilling than seeing her client happy and content as a result of the care that she has provided. She loves getting to know her clients and cares for them as if they are her own family.
