Carol is a warm, calm and friendly South African carer who spends roughly 7 months each year in the UK providing live-in care. She originally worked as an accountant in Johannesburg before caring for members of her own family and then became a live-in carer in the UK in 2013 and has since gained a wide and varied range of experience. Carol has experience in caring for clients with dementia at all levels, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, depression, catheter care, hoisting, as well as providing companionship and is always respectful of her clients and their need for privacy. She is not managing or bossy, tending to go with the flow and adapting her care accordingly. She has a lovely upbeat and kind persona and really enjoys getting to know her clients and what interests them. She is a driver but does not have her own car.
