About Esther F.

I am a qualified carer with several years of experience in the field, and I pride myself on being kind, empathetic, and friendly. My journey began as a Beauty Therapist, but I discovered my true passion in caregiving, finding it to be an incredibly rewarding experience. I am dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals remain in the comfort of their own homes while fostering a sense of community. My experience encompasses a wide range of conditions, including Alzheimer’s Dementia, Anxiety, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Depression, Type 1 Diabetes, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Type 2 Diabetes, Parkinson’s Disease, Schizophrenia, Stroke, Terminal Illness, and Vascular Dementia. In addition to my hands-on care experience, I hold a higher education diploma in Social Work and a BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care. I also enjoy cooking with fresh ingredients, preparing nutritious meals from scratch, which allows me to support my clients' well-being through healthy eating. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of those I care for, and I strive to create a warm, supportive environment for all.

"Esther has been providing very good care for my elderly mother's as her main live-in carer since January 2026 with Hometouch. Mum lives with impaired hearing and Vascular Dementia and suffers from regular moderate to severe episodes of confusion. Esther is a very caring, confident and calm carer and manages the care of Mum in sometimes very challenging situations. Esther is very committed to providing the best care possible and follows best practice. Esther is very observant and quickly recognises changes in Mum’s health in times of infection and is proactive in contacting the GP or other Health Professionals as required. Esther plays an important role in Mum’s outpatient appointments with (or without family when unable to attend). Esther always acts as Mum’s advocate and always ensures Mum gets the most appropriate clinical support she needs at that time. Esther communicates with the family and agency regularly with updates and keeps detailed written records of the care performed. Esther takes Mum out into her garden, whenever it is sunny for Mum to enjoy reading the newspaper and companionship over a cup of coffee and a cake."

"I would highly recommend Esther for any future position within your agency. She has been with my mother since December 2025 and has been the day carer within the home besides a night carer.. She is very capable and runs the household's daily needs, medical, shopping etc. She is very attentive to changes to Mum's behaviour, needs and contacts the doctor if Mum has a cut, bruising, adjustments in Mum medication and personal care. Mum has progressive dementia and Esther rises to the challenge of addressing mood changes. She is very conscious of safety and I have no worries living at a distance from Mum not getting excellent care. I am happy that Mum is able to stay within her home and appreciate her dedication. I would highly recommend her as an employee."

"I also wanted to say what a godsend Esther has been. She is so wonderful with Angela. She looks after her so well and communicates in a helpful way with my brother and I. Thank you so much for placing her with Angela."

""Esther has been caring for my elderly mother for the last two weeks. She is very observant, kind and caring. She recognised that Mum had several unresolved health issues. She quickly arranged the GP appointment, confidently talked to the GP and was able to get the issues investigated and/or resolved. She is chatty, easy to get on with and provides fun, stimulation and company for Mum. In the short time we have had Esther, she has exceeded expectations and is a real asset"."
