I have worked in the health sector for over 10 years, working in the community, live-in care, with the elderly and learning disability clients. I have worked with ceiling and standing hoist, wheelchair, slide sheets, banana slide, and patient turner among others. Most of my duties have been in personal care, medication, shopping, cooking cleaning, socialising, and companionship. I am a qualified medication, health and safety, covid, manual handling, hoisting etc. I am a compassionate Live-in, Support Worker and Healthcare Assistant with a lot of practical experiences gained through work and also with family. Confident in providing personal care to both the old and the young as well as helping with their everyday needs as individuals. Able to monitor and record vital signs and observations in line with professional guidelines. Takes pride in maintaining patient confidentiality and treating every individual with dignity, offering emotional support and empathy in addition to practical care.
