About Saudia M.

I hold professional qualifications in both teaching and nursing and have been actively involved in nursing assessments, procurement, case management, and reviewing care plans for adults and older individuals with long-term health needs. While this role allowed me to contribute to high-quality patient care, much of it was conducted remotely, and I found myself missing the personal, one-on-one interactions that facilitate meaningful relationships and positively impact people’s daily lives. I am currently working as a live-in carer, where I can provide the personal touch and support that truly makes a difference. Additionally, I work as a tutor and well-being coach, specializing in holistic, person-centred education for children and young people with special needs, particularly autism. My diverse background has equipped me with extensive experience across various client groups and settings, fueling my passion for helping individuals achieve optimal health and well-being. My work in both education and healthcare has helped me develop strong problem-solving, management, and teamwork skills. I am an empathetic, hands-on, and practical person who is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those I support. Good communication and listening skills are essential to my approach, as they foster trust and understanding of each individual's unique needs. Respect, dignity, and compassion are the core values I bring to my care, ensuring that everyone I work with is treated with the kindness and attention I would give to my own family. My goal is to combine my professional expertise and voluntary experience to support those experiencing poor or declining health, helping them achieve lasting health and a better quality of life.

“We needed a relief carer to cover a two week annual leave break for our regular live-in carer in May, 2022. My father is a 96 year old who suffers with Alzheimer/dementia and is now being nursed in bed at home. Saudia arrived and immediately gave a confident and caring first impression. She works in a highly professional and efficient manner and gave me regular updates on my Father’s condition and requirements. She would give me valuable advice on any improvements we could make to Dad’s care. We were so please with the standard of care delivered by Saudia that we have booked her again for another relief carer shift. “”

Hobbies

I enjoy immersing myself in a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, and embracing the great outdoors through camping and walking. Helping others is a passion of mine, and I have a keen interest in all things related to health. I love exploring nature, continuously learning new things, and listening to classical and gospel music.
