I enjoy working as a carer and I take great personal satisfaction in performing my duties and developing a greater understanding of the people I care for. I have learned so much in my time as a carer and gained vital skills along the way such as moving and handling, medication administration, emergency first aid and methods to carry out personal care. I am capable of running a house and completing all the necessary tasks around this like laundry, shopping, cleaning, maintenance. I also possess the required level of patience and sense of humour that is vital when dealing with challenging health issues. I am passionate about making my clients feel heard and valued and I take great pride in getting to know them as a person.
