I am an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who is always ready to work as part of a team and on my own initiative, thriving in either scenario. I have a flexible and an adaptable approach to my work which is vital when caring for someone. I can think on my feet and adapt to any situation. I recognise the importance this has in making sure care delivered to a client is person centred. I have a willing to discover and accept new ideas which can be put into practice effectively and I feel this is something all carers should be prepared to do- adapting to a clients preferred way of working enables the carer to meet their needs. I am a good communicator, using language, body language and gestures where needed to make sure my client understands what is being communicated and has the tools to express themselves too. I treat people as individuals, understanding and celebrating diversity and never discriminating. I am a good listener who can assist others to realise their maximum potential, supporting them to make goals and plan steps to achieve those goals. I have studied my level 3 in health and social care and I am happily looking forward to become a registered nurse, at the moment am a student nurse in Walsall manner hospital working towards my pin.
