I am positive and outgoing person with working experience within healthcare and customer service environment. This background has given me attributes such as good communication, confidence and a friendly, approachable demeanour- all lending themselves well to work as a carer. I can demonstrate excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently within minimum supervision. I have good interpersonal skills and can work well with people at all levels. I recognise the importance of tailoring conversation so all involved can understand. I have patience so am willing to repeat conversation or alter it as many times as needed to suit the client. I can work flexibly and adapt to situations as the day progresses to meet our targets and deadlines efficiently with a professional attitude. I like to set goals with the client, allowing them to highlight what is important to them and support them to set and achieve goals. I would consider myself a quick learner who is keen to learn new skills to deliver excellent standards of service in any task I undertake. I am also a free-spirited person and am willing to embrace a clients culture and religion and provide a method for them to actively participate in and practice their beliefs if they wish. I am a graduate at the Manchester college, studied BTEC Level 3 in applied science and I am looking forward to furthering my education to the university and acquiring a master’s degree to become a nurse and a role model to other females.
