About Vuka S.

In my previous experience I worked in Scotland as a live- in care assistant. I find live- in care assistant more challenging compared to my previous work as a care assistant. I found taking care of someone on a 1 to 1 basis provides better results for the clients’ best interest i.e. caring, compassionate and non-discriminatory care service. My previous clients have complimented my broad general knowledge and how well -spoken I am hence they find communicating and my company to be delightful. I am a driven, self-motivated person.. So my personal development is important to me, thus I often do short courses to broaden my skills and knowledge. My latest certificate is in Care and Basic Nursing Skills. Since I workout on a daily bases I am physically fit so moving and handling is one of my greatest attributes. I'm a very clean person with good organisational skills, I'm a hands- on person who is very hard working and follows instructions with good initiative skills also.

Ok with cats or dogs

“I recently engaged Vuka for two weeks respite cover for my father who has a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease. I felt that Vuka quickly got to know how best to care for my father in the context of his condition, learning about his preferences and how to keep him safe. I found Vuka to be warm, professional and knowledgeable about care and about ensuring care frameworks and COVID safe practices were implemented to support and protect my father’s best interests. Vuka also made some helpful suggestions around improving the health and safety within my father’s home environment, working collaboratively, respectfully and diligently to implement improvements, in a manner that was patient-centred. I felt he treated my father with dignity at all times. I was very happy with the care Vuka provided for my father and would not hesitate to recommend him. We would welcome him back in future for respite cover without hesitation.”
