I'm extremely empathetic, have a warm demeanour and am very understanding. I work well under pressure and stay calm within high intensity situations. Ensuring a safe environment for my clients at all times, making them feel comfortable and secure within their home. I'm there to make their quality of life as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, it's the small gestures and finer details that go along way. I have been a carer for over 5 years now and absolutely enjoy what a do. I consider myself positive, self conscious, optimistic, mindful, kind, gentle, confident, patient and reliable. I am co-operative, enjoy working both within a team and independently. My way of working is efficient, flexible, accurate and organised. I listen to my clients first and then I assist with their needs by creating an atmosphere where they feel supported and taken care of. I can carry out a number of duties such as personal care, housekeeping, cooking delicious tasty meals, administer medication. I have cared for clients with end of life, Dementia of all stages, Stroke and cerebral palsy to name a few. I like giving companionship, playing crosswords, watching a movie together and specially make them take part in their own care . I love to Travel and experience new places, cultures and food, I enjoy cooking and trying out new healthy tasty meals for my clients. I adore animals so have no problem working with clients who have pets. I am available now for for live in placements and flexible to travel nationwide.
