The vital care that l have provided was to enable clients to continue living in their homes with their families. l have gained a lot of experience using hoists, electric wheelchairs and other medical equipment. l ensure my clients feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process. As a carer, I have assisted with personal care and administered medication. I am always happy to help and give support to others when they need it most. l always ensure that everyone in my care is treated with respect, dignity and equality that they deserve. l consider my best qualities to be my flexibility, reliability and I am eager to learn new things. In the past, l have taken clients to social clubs for the day, l would like to do the same if the clients like going out. However, if clients don’t like going out l can introduce reading and playing music. I am available for live in placement and flexible to travel nationwide. I am reliable, trustworthy and have good communication skills. I work in partnership with the clients, their families, other professionals , my manager and team to provide quality care to clients that meets their individual needs. I apply person centred care because the clients are the centre of every thing I do.
