Lynda N.

Lynda comes from Scotland and spent 5 years serving with HM Forces in the British Army where she travelled the world. She has 2 children and four grandchildren. Then in 2006 she embarked upon a career in care starting her career in residential care homes for the elderly and supporting young adults with learning disabilities in the community. She has been working as a live in carer supporting clients to live independently in their own homes since 2010. Lynda holds a NVQ in Health and Social care and has done specific trainingin care of clients suffering with Dementia and challenging behaviour. Her live in care experience includes working with clients with limited mobility, providing end of life care, and supporting clients suffering with Dementia Lynda worked with her long term client, a 93 year old lady, sharing a rota of care on and off since November 2013, and then on a more permanent basis from December 2015 until she sadly passed away in October 2016. She has worked in shorter term roles since this time. Lynda always makes homemade food for clients using fresh ingredients to their tastes.
