I have helped people with multiple sclerosis, motor neuron, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, learning difficulties and spinal injuries. The vital care that l provided was to enable clients to continue living in their homes with their families. l have gained a lot of experience using hoists, electric wheelchairs and other medical equipment. l ensure my clients feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process. As a carer, I have assisted with personal care and administered medication which included insulin injections for diabetic clients.
I am always happy to help and give support to others when they need it most. l always ensure that everyone in my care is treated with respect, dignity and equality that they deserve. l consider my best qualities to be flexible, reliable and eager to learn new things. In the past, l have taken clients to social clubs for the day, l would like to do the same if the clients like going out. However, if clients don’t like going out l can introduce reading and playing classical music.
I like reading books, watching TV series and news, cooking, going for walks, shopping, listening to music and going out.
I am available for live in placement and flexible to travel nationwide.
