I have cared for clients with different medical conditions, however most of my clients suffered from spinal cord injuries and a few also had dementia. I assisted service users with daily personal care, medication, making sure that their household was clean and well maintained and also provided companionship. I am compassionate, patient, understanding, caring and mos of all have the necessary training to care for my clients. I am able to observe and pick up on any changes associated with the client's well being and raise concerns with the appropriate persons involved in their care. I also enjoy doing activities with my clients and this be both indoor or outdoors as this will depend on what my clients prefer. With my past clients I have enjoyed activities such as dog-walking together, grocery shopping or just go out and sit in the park for a few minutes with them. Some of them also just enjoyed watching TV, listening to the radio or have me read to them. In my spare time, I really enjoy watching movies, reading novels and going for walks around the neighbourhood. I am available for live in work and totally flexible to travel nationwide.
