hometouch Winter Care Survey
This winter, we surveyed members of the public, customers of hometouch and followers of our social media accounts on their experiences of finding home care for their families.
It is well known that both quality and cost are top of the concerns, but our survey found a wish for improved choice, transparency and control – something that is barely ever offered by the traditional home care model.
For example, 77% of our respondents believed it should be possible to select their own carer, yet this is almost unheard of with most care agencies.
